Emma Nicòl Pigato. Concert performer and saxophone teacher, she graduated with the highest marks in 2006 at the Conservatory A. Pedrollo in Vicenza. She studied with Eugene Rousseau, Jean-Marie Londeix, Marcus Stockhausen, Mario Marzi, Federico Mondelci, Vincent David. In chamber ensembles she has performed on important stages, such as the Sala Apollinee of the Teatro La Fenice of Venice, the Foyer of the Teatro Toniolo of Mestre, the Ridotto of the Teatro Comunale of Bologna, the Teatro Comunale of Vicenza, the Foyer of the Teatro Olimpico of Vicenza, the Municipality of Ribadedeva (Oviedo), Mondsee (Austria) and has received awards and recognitions in national and international chamber music competitions.
Active in the diffusion and recording of the contemporary repertoire for sax. More than 30 chamber and orchestral works by Leonardo Schiavo, Antonio Pessetto, Paolo Paglia, Alberto Piazza, Luca Moscardi, Daniele Di Maggio, Antonio Fraioli, Gianantonio Alberton, Fabio Mengozzi, Jailton De Oliveira have been dedicated to her.
He currently holds the chair of Performance and Interpretation at the Liceo Marco Polo in Venice (Italy).
